Lucy Lawless comes from New Zealand. She is both an actor as well as a musician. Lucy Lawless has been a well-known actress and performer throughout New Zealand for a number of years. Her most well-known role is her portrayal of Xena who she played during her entire career in the role of an actress. Lucy was initially intended to be played by Vanessa Angel. She was in a position to not make it to the filming due to sickness. Lucy's performance as Xena proved to be so popular that she was able to get a spin-off series and was first released in September of 1995. After the spin-off's release, the show suffered another setback in terms of ratings and importance to the culture which made the show be on for 6 seasons. It also helped boost Lucy's fame as an actress. She's not only well-known to the public as Xena but she is also known for her character in the role of Diane Lewis Swanson on NBCs famous comedy Parks and Recreation which she appeared in from 2012 to the year 2015.
